ENTROPIC BENCH

a design charette addressing unutilized  lots within GREENMOUNT WEST, BALTIMORE.

"entropic benches" are meant to be minimally invasive, allowing most of the preexisting flora to  consume them. if used regularly, the flora would be worn back.

the design shows benches which were placed in a landscape with steep grade.

ROWHOME RECLAMATION

meant to repurpose dilapidated vacancies, this design is also structured for entropic consumption.

the structure of the rowhome is minimalized,  serving as an armature for natural growth. welcome for walk throughs, this design was another addressing unutilized lots in GREENMOUNT WEST, BALTIMORE.

the facade of the structure remains greatly unaltered. once past the entryway, a canabalized interior shows materials which no longer serve the purpose of creating a home for residence other than the natural landscape around it.

specific elements include a third floor walkway which dissects the structure, owing its orientation to the path which connects all vacants within the neighborhood, as well as access to the "postage stamp" land parcel that the structure was built upon.
